N64 emulator has been updated recently. Changes:
Core:
- refactor DMA codes design and tweaking;
- enhance DMA in progress status check for game pause fix;
- fix inaccuracy in fastload savestate datetime format compare in certain case;
- minor fix on some header files;
- fix VI_SYNC bug where condition never evaluate to true;
- remove Azimer infinite looping hack for DK64 - no longer required;
Audio:
- enhance core audio algorithm for delay timing control;
- retain bottom 3 bits for audio length mask then check for multiple of 8;
- fix for Top Gear Rally loud popping/cracking sound at the start of every race (ON HOLD) due to performance hit on speed (no solution yet);
Many other changes and fixes.

Fceux SVN r2365 is released. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

Glitch64 SVN r270 is released. GlideHQ is a realtime texture enhancer library with hi-resolution texture pack support for Glide64. Glitch64 is the recommended Glide3x wrapper for Glide64, the Glide video plugin for N64 emulators. It currently supports S3TC texture compression, anisotropic filtering, widescreen resolutions and simulates almost all the Glide3x hardware capabilities used by the plugin, included texture buffer capability (needed for render to texture). It is coded using the OpenGL API and uses GLSL shaders.
Traditional and non-traditional techniques have been used to achieve speed and high image quality even on a 9 year old 3Dfx Voodoo2. Although the 3Dfx Glide3x texture format naming conventions are used, the library can be expanded for generic use. The library supports 6 enhancers and 6 image filters. FXT1 and S3TC texture compression are supported.

Pokemon - Red VGC EX plus Alpha Edition has been released! This is the final version of a ROM hack made of Pokemon Red for the Gameboy system!
Here is a brief overview of what was changed: - edited the types of pokemon that appear on the title screen
- edited the types of pokemon your rival collects at different points in the game ( only the starter is the same )
- edited some of the gym leaders / elite 4’s pokemon and some of their moves
- gym leaders give you the same TMs upon defeat…but you get 6 instead of 1 ( you can sell extra’s for money )
- edited the casino prizes and cost ( different pokemon and items )
- edited all of the in-game trades ( you get porygon instead of jynx )
- edited the types of items all of the pokemarts sell ( most shops carry TMs now )
- did a major edit of all of the wild pokemon encounters ( makes it a lot more fun to catch em’ all)

Today, I have released a translation patch for the NES adventure game Takeshi’s Challenge. Consider it a gift from Scrooge. :P
You’ve probably heard about this already. It’s pretty infamous for its poor quality. Or maybe the whole game was just a comedian playing a prank on everyone.
I was planning to release it on the 10th to celebrate its 25th anniversary, but replacing the graphics proved more time consuming than I thought. So instead you get to share the experience Japanese kids must’ve felt 25 years ago when they got this as a holiday gift.

The Gamecube loader for running games from an SD Gecko or one HDD (connected using an adapter EXI - FDI) has been updated by emu_kidid , which continues to improve over the versions. Since the last version officially proposed in the form of binary (R62), much progress has been made to fix various bugs (of Zelda Wind Waker for example) but also add some nice features, the latest being a patch not having to keep a game in the drive and another patch to better support 480p wii settled. The interface has also undergone a facelift in the spring. The curious can visit the official repository to see any changes made. Update: Version R94 pointed the tip of his nose just one day later, and replaces the previous version. This update improves last minute the "No DVD".
Summary of the homebrew
and foremost, it is useful to clarify some important things to reframe the situation - this is a homebrew native GAMECUBE by definition backward compatible with the Wii with some modifications (installation of cMios wiigator 0.2 and using Wii Gamecube Homebrew Launcher 0.2.3 to run from Swiss-GC Homebrew Channel). Keep in mind that it was designed at first for the Gamecube. - GC as an application, no device is accessible only Wii (SD slot, USB ports, etc). Meteor is a Nintendo Gameboy Advance emulator. It runs only on Linux (yet) and
can emulate a lot of games.
Installation
────────────
To build Meteor, you need the following dependencies :
- CMake
- Gtkmm
- sigc++ (installed with gtkmm)
- libao
- SFML
- zlib
- OpenGL
Type the following commands to build Meteor :
$ mkdir build
$ cd build
$ cmake ..
$ make
$ make install
You may need root privileges for the last command. You can change the
installation prefix by typing :
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX= ..
Uninstall
─────────
In the build directory type :
$ xargs rm < install_manifest.txt
You may need root privileges to do this.
